Bo'ness Hippodrome

Workmen install the screen of the Hippodrome in Bo'ness. Built in 1912, it was at the time Scotland's first purpose built cinema and is a rare example of pre-Art Deco architecture. It operated until 1975 when it was turned into a bingo hall before finally closing in 1980. After a £2.15 million renovation the curtain comes up for a new era in early April. More info from Wave PR.
